EILEEN with an A, not an eye.
Eileen's work is at the intersection of visual design, user experience, storytelling, and education -- distilling complex information into clear, beautiful solutions. From creating complete visual systems and accompanying brand standard guidelines to web strategies, her experience extends from communication design to UX visual design.

Currently, she's driving inclusive economic growth and promoting Chicago as a leading global city as part of the in-house marketing team at World Business Chicago. As WBC's Design Specialist, Eileen translates business objectives into clear creative strategies for the organization and it’s underlying initiatives, specifically working on identity, branding, user experience, web and print design projects.

Prior to World Business Chicago, she was the Creative Manager at the National Hellenic Museum, the second oldest American institution dedicated to displaying and celebrating the cultural contributions of Greeks and Greek-Americans. As Creative Manager, Eileen led the execution of graphic strategies that responded to a wide range of Museum needs which included exhibition design and branded interactive spaces.

Apart from working in-house, Eileen continues to spend time as a freelance consultant, building brand identities with independently owned businesses through her boutique creative company, Tiny Bear Studio. She also organizes Chicago Geek Women, a social group celebrating diverse women in geek culture.

Eileen served a year as an AmeriCorps Corps Member with City Year Chicago, has been a resident of IMPACT: Design for Social Change at School of Visual Arts, studied User Experience Design at the Starter League, has special interest in Human Computer Interaction, and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago.

Eileen was born and raised in Chicago, and currently lives in the city’s far northwest side with her husband and dog, Teddy.
